And I also think where we started with the idea of just being able to connect with each other each week and talk about food, once you had left Los Angeles and we weren't seeing each other in person, I'm so grateful for it.
We've had this happen over the course of our friendship too.

And then how did it become our recipe or when we've worked together and we've written recipes together?
Taking a second to reflect on how my friendship with you has really affected my cooking and the kinds of foods and recipes and flavors that I never would have discovered without you and how that's become a part of my story and become a part of my family's story and a part of my son's story.
My son who constantly says, when is Auntie Sonia coming back to visit us?

And what, and what is she bringing or, oh, we're, we're making her recipe or when he doesn't realize it, we're making one of your grandmother's recipes.
And so how your family stories become my family stories.
