For many, including myself, is a spiritual home.
Back in the 1960s, these fields and forests nurtured souls that changed the world.
In the 70s, the rivers and bathing ponds cleansed the skin of some of the greatest artists the world has ever known.
And alas, not known.
In the 80s, its birdsong and call of its many insects and critters sang into the minds of our great thinkers.
The 90s, well, we all remember the mud.
The mud that caked and splattered my children.
Boys and girls that would have the whole world in their hands.
Every year I have come here and I have talked of one thing.
How to live forever.
When I first spoke here, I looked out at one single man, as part of my audience, one single man.
for my first talk, and I said to him, I will live forever, and I will tell you how to do the same.
Now I look out with eyes as fresh as back then, bones and muscles just as firm a heart, beating at a healthier rhythm in clearer arteries, and I see thousands.
But, but I still will always talk to you, one to one, me and you.
We live forever in mind as well as body.
And some think that living forever means staying young.
Wrong.
We must grow up.
We must be serious.
