We're never going to get there and suddenly the toilet is behind him instead of in front of him, right?
And that's just the sort of thing you have happen when you're filming a TV show.
It rains and you have to suddenly write everything as if it takes place indoors rather than outdoors.
There's all these adjustments you do on the fly.
And that to me is a different part of my brain that has to come up with that solution.
There's a script that you sell, there's a script that you hone, and there's a script that you shoot from.
And then there's another process of editing.
The best way to describe it is you write the script in prose, you shoot in poetry and you edit in haiku.
So right now, when I return home, I'm going to have another week where we're filming.
We've been doing this since April.
And we're now at the end of June.
And then we'll take a break, catch our breath for a few weeks, and then the editing will begin.
And you're going to be in the edit?
I will be remotely because it's being done in Australia.
I hope I don't have to go to Australia because I need to be in Atlanta in my cabin writing my books.
I'm writing the next book in the North Falls series, and so I was very careful to plant some things in We Are All Guilty Here that we can follow up in in the next series, and hopefully my readers will find it propulsive and exciting.
I got home from London on a Friday night at seven and then I was in Griffin an hour away from Atlanta.
the next morning at 11.
Wow.
To be in the middle of it here was really rewarding.
