It's real close control of the ball.

And I'll not profess to have him watch loads and loads of De Amande, of course, but you see, you can get an idea of the type of player he is from the highlights.

And it is an incredible touch, you know, touches both feet.

They're both two-footed players and quite similar to the goal like Olly Watkins scores against Man City yesterday, where it's just that really quick movement between both feet and finds himself a bit of space.

do that quite a lot and I think that's really really important because there will come a point where if next season we've got two really pissy lads in the wings well teams are just going to drop back 20-30 yards and then that presents another problem and do you have the quality then to be able to overcome that if you can't just knock it and run and for me from what I've seen both De Amandi and Barkley can

Now, he has lost a little bit of his pace this season, and he was never absolutely rapid anyway.

He almost struck me as like a sort of Jota-type player in terms of his physicality, where Jota was obviously really, really robust when he was fit.

You could absolutely see a situation in which Jota's running through and goal and has got past the defender, but it's not exactly you stick Jared Bowen right wing and you can just pick it over the top like you used to do with Salah and he will run onto it and he will do that thing.

But he does offer you a little bit of versatility there.

So if we're in a situation next year where, for example, let's say we get the two in that we just talked about there.

and one of them is injured or one of them needs a break, well, if you've got one really quick lad on one side and then you've got Jared Bowen on the other, well, as long as you've got one, you've still got that option.

And possibly Isaac in the middle.

And possibly Isaac in the middle as well.

So, yeah, I don't mind it at all.

I don't think he's going to come in and certainly play every game or I don't think he's going to absolutely set the world alight.

But we're not going to be able to sign just the three best wingers in the world who are all dead quick.

It's not going to happen.

There's surgery that needs done in the wide areas of this squad.

And if we could get to you, and that will be amazing, but it will be cheap as well.
