Well to a certain extent we can because we can actually image the neuronal circuitry at least and and look at the common homologies.
And you may argue from the point of origin of life, there are lots of different um structural chemical um um
um homologies that what might you what one might appeal to as sources of evidence to make an inference, a best guess, is this thing conscious or not?
