My first three years at Montpellier, three different head coaches, which means straight away that changes.
One guy might like what you do, another guy doesn't.
one guy really rates you, one guy doesn't, which has happened to me in the past.
One guy, I suppose at the time, I wouldn't say didn't rate me, but he just probably didn't think I was good enough, which was kind of bad for me, I suppose.
But the guy beforehand really rated me, and he was the one giving me my shots and whatnot.
I said then the injuries started to pile up.
From guys who I've spoken to who've played in various clubs in various countries,
being injured is always lonely.
It's always, it's always tough.
It's always lonely, no matter where you are, no matter how much, you know, a team does to try, I suppose, soften that blow.
It's, it's never easy.
And I mean, I said, I've done, I've done my cruciate, I've done my meniscus, I've done my two MCLs.
I think there is, I don't know, couldn't be wrong, but in my, in my, in my right knee over the course of, I suppose, my first three years in France, a year and a year and a half, a year, 18 months of it, or probably more, sorry, 20,
22 months that I was injured and that was very tough.
Mentally, that was very tough because every time you come back and you feel like you come back stronger, there's a little bit of disappointment then when you don't, I suppose, you feel like you're not getting the look that you probably deserve.
And then you come back and you get re-injured and it was just, that was very tough for me.
And then last year, I went away to Aurillac, played 27 games out of 30, I think it was.
no injuries, I was in great form, I felt good, I was whatever.
Come back to Montpellier at the start of the season, I think it was week five, we played wrestling and I dislocated my shoulder, I had to get surgery on that, so I was out for five months.
I was only back available the start of March and there was two Six Nations games, so I suppose the end of March was when the first game was and then I played against Toulouse, so that was two weeks, three weeks ago I think it was, we played Toulouse.
