Yes, I mean, like I say, Sven gave me my Premier League debut.

He took me to Notts County and he was the one who brought me to Leicester.

So, yeah, Sven, it's safe to say Sven's been a big influence in my life.

But the one conversation I kind of had with him that kind of changed my...

my perspective and and and kind of uh set me on the course i ended up going on was uh here comes sven he's just been he's been england managed he's been you know petfica he's been lazio he's been all these big clubs he's had a lot you know of massive massive players and particularly goalkeepers when you when you look who he's worked with and uh he had a conversation with me about something and he and he he was the first person to call me world class

he was talking about my speed on the line.

He said, it's absolutely world-class, he said.

And I just thought, I hadn't played in the Premier League, but I'd been around the lower leagues, and it was the first time anyone had ever referred to one of my abilities as world-class.

But that gave me the confidence to actually, actually, do you know what?

If he's saying that, then I've got, if he's saying, I have to believe it.

And that gave me so much confidence and that helped me like build into becoming a goalkeeper that could play at that level.

I think it was important what you said there.

This whole thing about building for the future.

no it is about the here and now when it comes to international football you have tournaments if you if you're qualifying like england for every major tournament it's not four year cycle it is the here and now you have to qualify and you have to go and win it's not about oh we've got to look to the next four or six years no focus on the here and now i think that is that's such a such an important bit
