James brought them all through and actually gave them the opportunity because that's what it's all about.
But I was fortunate enough, I think they were just before they come in the year, just before they came in professional.
I worked with them for six months and it was inevitable he was going to be a footballer at a good level.
And now it was great to see him impact on D the way he did.
He's got his big move and listen, he's playing a huge level in Aberdeen as well.
He's a top, top kid, talented and I've no doubt he'll kick on.
It's hard to tell.
He's done an incredible job since he's, well, both times he's been back.
They're hard to predict Celtic because they've not played brilliantly well in all the games, but they have played really well in some.
But they're winning all the time.
And obviously the blip was against Michelin.
That could happen when you're at the peak of your powers, if you like.
And clearly Celtic aren't at the minute.
So I really don't know what to expect.
It's a massive test tonight and you can sense from Martin's words the domestic scene is obviously where the majority of his attention is at but ultimately they're in a fantastic competition, they've got a chance so why wouldn't they go for it?
Yeah, listen, I came over here in 2003, so I know the club and I know the expectation of the club.
One thing you learn really quickly at Celtic is you don't get too far ahead of yourself.
So when the winning has been happening, I'm talking personally for myself, I think the last experience you had of winning the COVID year, how quickly you can go from winning trebles, invincible seasons, to all of a sudden...
chaos and that's that is the pressure that is a privilege that pressure at Celtic it's an honour to carry it but it's it's heavy it's heavy and they're getting tested now so I I think the only thing they can do is try to be together they're not going to they're not going to blow everyone away for the next four or five months I think that's clear now so it's it's a reset of mentality to think we need to just get over the line and that's clearly what Martin O'Neill thinks Do you think they'll win the league?
I think as a Celtic player, you always have to expect if you perform to your level, you win.
