And this newspaper, Le Matin, they have this really rousing editorial on their front page.
This is a technology that has been held back for too long, that's been raced on circular tracks like like racehorses.
We would never kind of insult a brilliant technology like the train in this way, and we think the car can be like the train.
And who who can kind of live up to this challenge, therefore showing that this technology is more than it is being used for at the moment.
They really truly believe that the names of the drivers will kind of live forever in in the way that we think of, you know, Shackleton, for example.
But you have a few different steps on the way to kind of a fully fledged car.
You have personal versions of steam trains.
So you have conveyances like that are organized kind of like a private carriage that can house or transport a couple of people that are powered by steam.
And then what people often think of as the first car is invented in the 1880s.
She's actually the kind of the more business-brained of the two.
She's the one who kind of brought the capital to the arrangement.
And she decides that she's going to, without her husband's knowledge, she's going to take the vehicle, take her kids, and go and visit a uh a relative about 40 kilometers away from where they live.
And her taking the vehicle and then driving it this distance becomes kind of part of the founding myth of the
car but also proves that this technology is viable.
She does something practical with it.
She takes it out of of the kind of the the realm of the engineer and and the realm of the the theoretical and she takes a trip with it.
And in doing that, she shows that the car can have practical applications and from that point onwards it's launched.
And they're owned in the same way that sort of a a private horse-drawn carriage was owned.
