There have been more than 2,000 National Guard troops in D.C.
from several states since August when Trump ordered the deployment over concerns about the city's crime rate.
This has been part of a pattern of Trump deploying the National Guard to Democratic-led cities around the country, often against the wishes of local governors and authorities.
And, you know, D.C.
is unique.
Unlike in the 50 states, the president has the authority to deploy the National Guard in D.C.,
A few hundred Israeli soldiers and several armored vehicles raided the Palestinian town of Tubas outside of Nablus, according to the mayor.
Israel said it was part of a, quote, broad counterterrorism operation in the area.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said its teams were treating 10 people for, quote, brutal beatings, and that 30 patients total were transferred to hospitals as a result of the raid, noting that transportation was difficult due to military incursions.
This major raid comes as Israel has been carrying out an extended and destructive military campaign in northern refugee camps of the West Bank, leading to the longest and largest displacement in the territory in decades.

The Israeli Prime Minister's office confirmed that forensic tests show the body is that of Dwar Or, a 48-year-old who Israel says was killed at his home in the October 7th attack.
Or's wife was also killed.
Two of his children were taken hostage into Gaza and later released alive.
In exchange for the transfer of Or's body, Israel is expected to release the bodies of 15 Palestinians held by Israel.
As part of a ceasefire deal implemented nearly seven weeks ago,
All remaining hostages, both alive and dead in Gaza, are supposed to be returned to Israel.
There are still two more bodies remaining.
