I did a little hustle in the beginning, got this thing off the ground, but I was like, I'm not going to build something that's entrapping me. And I want to enjoy the journey. I want to live my life as I'm growing this because Miss Excel is a direct reflection of my own energy. So really, it was a game of just hiring out certain things that I was doing where they could do it so much faster than me too. Things that they're experts in and having the team to back it up helped a lot. But Typically, our day-to-day looks totally different depending on what we're doing.

Like, we spent the summer living in Europe and just traveling, and maybe we got on a team meeting once a week. But the business is a well-oiled machine now. We have systems in place. We have an incredible team. Everything running smoothly, it doesn't require much from me. Where I come into play is more of a strategy, visionary, partnerships. Where are we taking this train?

So even if it looks like on the outside, I'm not traditionally working, sitting at a desk, when I'm off-roading through the desert, riding on our quad, that puts me in a creative flow state because my body is relaxed and I'll start getting tons of ideas and then I write them down.
