You can learn a lot just from the titles of these books alone, I reckon.
What about this one?
Okay, this is a book I probably read two years ago, but I thought it was worth a mention.
It's called A Hype by Gabrielle Bluestone.
She was a journalist and also involved with all the research for the Netflix doco on the Fyre Fest.
And she's done a lot of research into...
Scammers, financial frauds, not always finance, but most frauds involve some form of money, I think.
Yeah.
So, I just think this is an important book to read as a reminder.
Anything about whether you read a podcast or watch a Netflix doco, I think once a year reminding yourself that even very smart people get scammed, even very smart people fall for frauds, and it's a good way to β
Maybe just check your beliefs about things because you don't want to fall prey to a scam or a fraud.
There's things going around all the time.
You get the texts from Commonwealth Bank, like log into your account when it's really from a fake number.
You're going to get emails.
Your data might get leaked.
