is that their main focus is protecting the institution or protecting themselves personally.
That is bad leadership because it means you cannot have integrity.
You cannot lead with integrity.
And it makes sense because obviously if you're the type of leader who immediately blows up the institution you're leading, then that doesn't exist anymore.
And maybe that's why we don't have any good leaders anymore because they had integrity and they didn't put the survival of the institution first.
But I feel like you have to, just to be a good leader, you have to be responsible and understand that with great power comes great responsibility.
You have to be humble and you have to listen and you have to learn.
You can't get defensive and you cannot put your own protection before other things.
Yeah.
That's maybe the problem.
Like the people who have good ideas about leadership, they're like, yeah.
No.
This is why I don't, why I'm not running a company.

And in the reaction, the things I learned about human nature were that sometimes cowards are worse than assholes.
