So nothing is final until it's final.
That's right.
I mean, in Washington, they can get a lot, as we've seen.
they could get a lot done in a tight timeframe if they want to.
And they have a couple of weeks where they can sort this out.
So I think they probably feel comfortable that they have plenty of time.
It seems as though the hard part is behind them, getting both chambers to pass a bill.
And also important to remember, the tight timeline is somewhat self-imposed.
Yes, the president certainly has made clear he wants that bill to his desk by Christmas or by the end of the year.
But
nothing terrible is going to happen if that doesn't happen.
But I think it seems, you know, seems as though they're going to make that deadline.
