And I know they're never going to be able to buy a house or afford a house until I'm dead.

But then they're going to realize I reverse mortgage.

They're never going to own a house.

Yeah, so I recorded this special and I just wanted, really, I just wanted my body to work out there.

And I felt like time was going by and, you know, these jokes.

I just want to be relevant in my own life with my standup.

I want to talk about being an empty nester.

Because I am, and they did come back, right?

And I don't want my comedy act to stay where I'm still a mom with young children.

I'm not.

So to me, it's just important to put it out there, to go, it's okay to be older.

Aging is...

frigging weird and being in a marriage of my, like I've been with my husband since I was 21.

We've been, you know, we've lived seven different lifetimes together and we're such different people now.

So I just want it all, you know, like we used to run to bed, you know, to fool around.

Now we run to bed to try and fall asleep before the other starts snoring.

Life changes.

Well, you know what?

I just think we have to give and take.

And I believe that with my mother-in-law, she's of a different generation.
