Yeah.
So she was a spiritualist and a medium.
She called herself a witch and she saw...
the sinking of a submarine and spoke about it.
And so under the Secrecy Act, they arrested her and imprisoned her.
And it caused so much social outrage that this woman was being imprisoned for being a witch in 1944.
They eventually let her go free.
Older women who are outside the norm, who are outsiders, are still having fingers pointed at them.
So this misogyny, which was encoded in law in Scotland and other places, is still prevalent in our own society.
And she's become a bit of a feminist icon.
She is seen as being, I guess you could say, a poster girl for the effects of misogyny.
He thought that he would be, you know, immortalised.
He was pretty damn proud of himself.
But now John Knox's grave is in a car park.
Yes, and you are asked to dance on his grave.
And so any time of day or night, you walk past John Knox's grave and there are women proudly, madly dancing on his grave.
And he never saw that one coming, did he?
