I get the anti-social behaviour concerns and that absolutely is a concern.

You know, once drink gets involved, things can get messy.

That's just the nature of it.

Yeah, and that does seem a bit cheap.

I totally agree.

And I think it's so hard.

I mean, I'm basing this on Dublin, but it is so hard to find a nice space to sit outside and have a couple of drinks with your friends.

I did that only recently, sat and went for a picnic in Stevens Green.

And I mean, punishing antisocial behaviour is...

absolutely necessary.

But I don't think it's fair to have this kind of collective punishment, especially when the weather is good.

European cities are a great example of this.

I was in Barcelona a couple of years ago and they had the whole outside of all of the pubs and restaurants set up for these kind of things where they had little kind of food carts and then kind of portable bars.

We could do that here.

We could do that in our major cities here.

And like you say, we have the weather for it now.

you know, taking into account the climate change implications of that.

But we have the climate for it.

We've had such a great summer.

If we were better set up for this outdoor drinking, then this probably wouldn't be a problem to begin with.
