So they obviously kind of haven't captured the cultural zeitgeist.
And besides Bridgerton, I don't think any of them have really made a massive impact.
You have His and Hers, which uh was this kind of who done it crime kind of drama, which was quite good.
I did actually watch that one.
I Will Find You, uh, one of the Harlan Coben adaptations, is apparently Netflix's most watched show this year so far.
But I mean the other ones, The Night Agent, Man on Fire, Teach You a Lesson.
Some of these I haven't even.
And actually Stranger Things has crept into the list as well, which isn't even from this year and had a pretty marked drop off in quality towards the end of its run as well.
So they're not really setting the world alight anymore.

I hate that model.
I hate what's happened to T V with this.
And Netflix is being shown up now by shows like The Pit that has consistent and shows like Slow Horses, which we'll get to later, where they consistently have at least a season per year.
They have weekly drops, which builds hype.
There's none of this nonsense.
One of the most annoying I find Netflix ways of dropping shows is the way they do Bridgerton, which is drop two or three episodes when it first comes out, then wait up
month and drop either the rest or even sometimes drop it in three parts.
There was loads of criticism of Stranger Things last year dropping like that as well, because the hype just dies.
It just dies at death where at least if something is airing weekly, you have time to digest it in between.
It might generate more conversation.
