Like I said at the beginning, you decided, you asked Greg, your husband, to come with you to Broken Hill in 2019.

What were you hoping to find in Broken Hill?

Well, just to get to the bones of the story, you know, I was really interested in the muscle and the sinews and the tissues of what the rogue coupling of an affair means.

And I knew that, you know, we would both go there together.

He's got his family.

He's got cousins in Broken Hill.

It's a wild old town, Broken Hill.

He loves Broken Hill.

He loves it because that's where his father came from and he's got a real attachment to that landscape, you know, visceral attachment to that landscape for sure.

It's a lively town.

I've been a couple of times in Broken Hill and you have some pretty interesting conversations.

It's a bit of a, it's like Kalgoorlie.

It's one of those big old mining towns where certain, you know, there's a feeling that what goes on tour stays on tour in a town like that.

And it's a blokey town.

You know, it's a mining town.

It's a one-trick mining town, I think, and that probably encourages some of that behaviour.
