And I think in order to become a better friend, even if you don't care about what your friend is working towards or you don't understand it, you need to show up for them.

Like I have like one of my girlfriends, she works in insurance.

I don't understand what she does for work because I don't work in insurance.

She has that skill set that I don't have.

But when she's coming to me being like, I just got a promotion of X amount of money per year that I've been working so hard for for the last five years, you best believe that we are celebrating her and we're asking her questions about it and we're going out to dinner and we're having a glass of wine together.

Just because I don't understand what she does doesn't mean that it's not important.

And I love her and I want her to feel loved.

And I want her to feel, what's the word I'm looking for?

What do you need help with?

I want her to feel appreciated.

I want her to feel loved and appreciated in the friendship.

And I also equally know that she would celebrate me just as hard.
