It's a nice surprise.

Right.

It definitely fluctuates a lot.

Obviously, the dollar fluctuates in strength, and then those local currencies also fluctuate.

There are certain countries that are often a good deal.

So the other countries right now that are especially a good deal to go to are Japan and Hungary.

Japan is another one where their currency has gotten weaker in the past couple of years.

And right now, basically, $1 is equivalent to 156 Japanese yen.

He was there for about a month and he, you know, is kind of budget conscious as a younger traveler and usually looks for kind of lower budget hostels where he can save money.

And when he was in Japan, he was able to actually increase his filter a little bit and look for higher rated hostels because the prices were so low there.

He also talked about being able to buy cheaper clothes, cheaper food, going on tours to lots of different temples and shrines for just

And another point there, he was there in April, which is sort of the peak tourist season for Japan because their cherry blossoms are in bloom.

But he didn't really notice any elevated prices.

So in Hungary, a dollar is worth about 360 Hungarian forints, and that is an increase of about 20% in the dollar value since 2019.

So again, it's a country where the dollar is valuable right now, and it's also increased a lot recently.

Another point in Hungary is that travel there hasn't fully recovered since the pandemic, and so there's still a lower demand than there was, say, in 2019.

And so you might find that prices are slightly lower.

I talked to a woman who was there recently and she found the food was really inexpensive.

She went to a Michelin-starred restaurant there and had a meal with her sister for less than $200.
