How does he justify applying for parole in the first place?
Now that's where I get cross about the system, all right, because if he chose not to apply for parole, it would actually go against him.
No end to the suffering.
When I look at the justice system now, there's a system there.
In my opinion, it leans more towards the perpetrator than it does the victims.
There's no doubt.
It was a victory for SAVE.
Being an advocate and talking out, and when we as victims talk out, things do change and they can change.
And it is important to be part of that and part of that process.
It's an awful situation to be in.
It's a horrible place to sit because while, you know, you feel part of the process and you feel, you know, your voice counts and it matters.
Does it really?
You know, maybe it doesn't.
How much consideration do they give to my submission?
I don't know.
Now, I have to assume that they do.
And I have to, yeah, I have to assume and I have to believe that it does matter.
But, you know, if Sanj didn't make the application in the first place, then it wouldn't happen.
So he controls that.
If I didn't make my submission, it doesn't matter.
