I asked him to not do anything silly and to just come home because he disappeared that day.

It took him a long time to come home.

I asked him about it then and he just, yeah, he put his hands up to it.

He was upset.

I don't know whether he was upset for what he had done or if he was upset because he'd been caught.

I was very much, you know, you're going to have to deal with this.

I suppose I never really saw it as gambling.

We would have invested money when we were in Saudi Arabia.

So I trusted him, if you like, trusted that.

We more than made our money back when we were in Saudi.

So I could see that it was something that I could make money from.

So when he was investing originally, I saw it as a hobby of sorts and it never really went beyond that.

And because it was trading and day trading, I always say it was an addiction that was hidden in the open because I could stand over his shoulder and watch him all the time.

I could watch what he was doing all the time.

And it was all graphs and numbers.

It meant nothing to me.

I now know that he would have used a lot of the money that we made to gamble, basically.
