It's so exciting to be here.

That's a great question.

I'm essentially managing the whole process of taking a print book, words on the page, through all the steps of getting it to a listenable product that people can download on their phone and enjoy in their ears.

So we get assigned our books broken down by this span that they're coming out in.

So the spans are essentially seasons.

There's three different spans in publishing.

There's spring, summer, and fall.

There's no winter in publishing.

I don't know why.

I've never asked, but no one's ever volunteered that information.

And the spring books are usually ones that are coming out between January and end of May.

And then summer is...

beginning of May, usually to the end of August, and then fall books are any that are coming out from beginning of August to the end of December.

And so we're assigned all of our books a span at a time.

So I'll usually be given eight to 10 books that I need to turn into an audiobook within- Per season.
