Um and like that's me going through it as not a a public facing, you know, very well loved footballer where everyone is going to be asking, What happened or what's going on?

So I think I think it's an incredibly brave thing to do.

And I'm really glad for for your sake that, you know, you were able to be surrounded by people who encourage that.

Um But I do have to say

that I you may not have felt like you'd performed as well as you could on the pitch, which is fair enough.

But from an outside perspective, I can't tell you how many times we talked on the pod with like Karen Duggan, Scarlett Heron, various other guests that were on about the impact we thought you made on Liverpool whenever you came in in January.

It was said a couple of times and even with people that I would talk to around the sport though I don't know if they would have stayed up without a player of your experience on the team.

Like there was a

There was an experience and a professionalism that you brought that I think really gave Liverpool a bounce, whether you felt it or not at the time.

I was chatting to Garrett about this yesterday 'cause unfortunately she couldn't make it this evening.

Um, but I was like, Do you know, do you have anything you want to ask?

And she was wondering, did you feel any pressure to come back to the WSL?

Because I remember when you first signed for Liverpool chatting to you and joking like, Okay, well, at least I don't need to ask you or like everyone doesn't need to ask you anymore if you're going to play back over here.

But like, did that ever

weigh on your decision.

I know you said you want to be closer to family and you know, from an international perspective as well, obviously the travel is a little bit different, so that was probably a bonus.

But did you have that pressure by being constantly asked?

And so then when you made the decision to leave Liverpool and all parties were happy and obviously you were looking to go back to the States and Gotham where they're on the line, but I heard there was a couple of other clubs interested as well.

Was there any apprehension on your side that, you know, having been with the courage for so long that maybe or like w is it just that I don't like playing in the WSL or being uh in a different league, or is it possible that I'm gonna go to another club and feel similarly?
