Well, I like to say that it wasn't in my 10 year plan, my five year plan and barely in my one year plan.

But I have served as chief of staff to the current attorney general for almost 10 years now.

And so as our time started to come to a close, he's term limited out.

And I thought, you know what?

I know how to run this place.

I've been around a little bit.

Why not?

So just been out there working hard and just telling people about, you know, what I've accomplished and kind of what my vision is.

And

you know, for the most part I've enjoyed it.
