So I love this book because I co-authored it with a colleague of mine who's a graphic designer and an artist.
So we took this huge amount.
If I had a visual, I'd show you this pile of academic research volume books on the science of creativity.
That's really when I show it to people in talks that I give and things like that, I say,
Did you like what I just said about creativity?
Oh yeah, it was great.
Would you like to read more about that?
Oh yeah.
Well would you read this book and I hold up these volumes of academic research and they look at me like
No.
Are you kidding me?
So I've got this stack of books that are, you know, maybe a foot high
And then creativity for everybody is very thin.
And if you open it, it's very visual and it has so much white space in it.
It's more like a coffee table book.
So you can open it, grab an idea from each page.
It's called a kind of a choose your own adventure, we say that there are some things written along the side, so you can read the book sideways, you can read the book visually, you can read just the narrative in the front.
Could read the research narrative in the back.
So there are a lot of ways to approach it.
And we did that because studying the science of creativity, which I have a master's in, you learn so many incredibly transformative principles, ideas.
