And there are so many peaches that baskets overflow with them up and down Main Street.
But someone gets crowned the head peach and they, I guess, rule over all the other peaches for the year.
I don't know.
I don't think the rules are very clear, but it is a lot of fun, and the whole town smells like heaven for the weekend.
Do we have something like that in the village?
Of course.
Frankly, we have a few of those kind of festivals, but I haven't gotten to write about them all yet, and I don't wanna spoil anything because I have a feeling you'll hear more about them soon.
But for now I'll just say
Firefly Fest and Lantern Days are both going to be very fun weekends.

It's not that weird really.
Where I'm from, there's an annual winter festival where people race outhouses on skis down Main Street.
So walleye's as a celebratory centerpiece actually sounds totally reasonable.
