I have this new podcast with my friend Alan Sepinwall.
We did an episode where we talked about Star City.
And he, like you, was full, and I think more egregiously than you, fully spinning out about the British accents thing.
Yeah.
And my argument in that conversation was like, I don't know, in sheep detectives, the sheep talk and their voices sound like whatever actor you cast as the sheep.
And what I need is like the internal sense of who this person is.
And I don't particularly care.
The English is coming out of their mouths, but there's Cyrillic on their papers.
I we all I'm not I am not saying that it is wrong for anybody to have this hang up.
Yeah, we all have our things.
I can't get it up for this one, but I applaud everyone who is going to go increasingly mad about it.
Do you think they made Anna Maxwell Martin, they were like, what's your Russian accent like?
We can all guess who it was.
That's my guess.
No, I like it, too.
Yes, sure.
I write at Vulture, a New York magazine.
I have been there for a number of years now.
I think Vulture is doing always, you know, interesting and exciting culture work.
I write a lot about comedy there.
