What I think is happening with all the health care cuts that are destabilizing health care, even in the rural Republican areas of New York, like Elise Stefanik's district,
It's not a good political story.
I once said, I said, this is not good politics for you.
You're going to lose in Republican areas because of these tariffs and inflation and all these costs of living going up.
So they're interesting conversations.
I think it's always good to have the door open, line of communication, but always will stand up for New York values.
Of course it is.
The CEOs often call me and they'll say, you know, I just want you to know, Governor, this is not a new headquarters.
We're still here.
Then they say, we're expanding here.
I just took on, I'm leasing more.
I cannot get over the number of leases for commercial space that have been let in the last three, four months.
It is extraordinary.
No one could have foreseen this.
Remember just a few years ago, during the pandemic, I first became governor during the middle of the pandemic.
People said real estate in New York City is dead.
Turn out the lights.
It is dead.
It is on fire.
