You know, that's a big one.
I spent my entire life growing up doing everything, wearing the clothes that my mother liked, doing whatever my mother wanted me to do.
I was trying to gain her love and attention and affection and all that.
And it took until I was in recovery and I sat there like a broken shell, not knowing what I liked, what I didn't like, what I, I knew nothing.
I absolutely knew nothing because I was, I spent my entire life trying to please other people.
Mm-hmm.
And it was a real, real eye-opener.
Let me tell you.
Learning who Kathy was.
I actually had to unlearn all the crap.
