It's great to be here.
Oh, that's a great question.
I think in a way, but my whole career has really been thinking about love.
And so my first book and some subsequent books were about love.
And then maybe more obviously think about kissing.
And actually, the reason I was interested in loneliness is because of love, right?
Loneliness is that sort of absence of love.
And so I think in a way, there is a theme across my works, which is kind of thinking about human connection and relationships.
And together, they kind of add up to me going, maybe we should think about kissing as that kind of sign, I guess, of connection and joining together.
Certainly.
In the book on loneliness, I have a whole section on unrequited love.
And so definitely people are pursuing that kind of affection.
It's a good point though.
Have I any lonely people thinking?
I do, I guess.
I have lots of, even in the Kiss book, I have lots of people for whom the kiss, they're imagining the kiss and they're imagining the kiss with people who they maybe should not be kissing or who they want to kiss and for whom it may or may not be satisfying.
And so I guess in a way, yeah, loneliness, people do ponder on the kiss, want to kiss.
They don't get to.
Yeah.
