People like me especially need to check our privilege at the fucking door, you know, and actually look at what's happening around us and need to learn to be uncomfortable and need to learn to do without in order to help others.

And I think that's a big thing.

Again, this has been a very different episode to what I normally do, but that is a story of the protest psychosis.

And yeah, that's that.

So again, very, very dense episode, very laden with, yeah.

So basically people of colour have always been judged more harshly than white people.

And when it comes to being respected in spaces as well, right?

black people have to be more they have had to be more serious like I remember when the chubby bunny challenge was like a big thing like very many years ago I think I'm going back nearly a decade for this and it was basically how many marshmallows can you put in your mouth and then speak and overwhelmingly white you know a lot of black creators

weren't doing things like the chubby bunny challenge, because those silly challenges would be used to discredit them, especially online educators and things like that.

So, you know, you had to be very strict.

Now, luckily, things are changing slightly, like we're kind of moving in the right direction.

But it means for people like me,

like people who have privilege you know to show up to stand up and support and sometimes to shut our fucking mouths and listen to what people are saying um because i understand the irony that is someone who talks about many things that are not my uh race religion uh nation

that I'm always concerned about overstepping the mark.

And I do try and be respectful.

But the good thing is people are not shy about telling me when I've buggered up.
