And then are we just supposed to move on in the news cycle when they blame some unidentified staffer?

Who, by the way, they didn't say was fired.

They didn't say that they were sorry that this person hijacked a Truth Social account, which Trump himself says that only him and Dan Scavino have access to, right?

Like, come on, we're not idiots.

But when you do this...

And you just allow it to move on in the news cycle.

I'm grateful that we're continuing to talk about it today and on your show, Don, because I do feel like it has become so ingrained in what we anticipate and expect that I think people are now just kind of letting it go.

And we should never let it go.

So I'm grateful for the passion.

What I would have loved to have heard, though, was a little bit less outrage about the racism and a little bit matching outrage about the lies that were a part of the bigger post.

I mean, you know, coming on the heels of them raiding Fulton County last week, coming on the heels of Steve Bannon and Caroline Levitt saying, expect to ice at the polls in November.

The fact that the video was being used

to let people think that 2020 was a stolen election and that there's something defective about our voting machines is a real problem and so in some ways it was a pretty smart delivery vehicle for donald trump it forces a lot of people will go and watch that video they'll see the and lies in the conspiracy about a stolen election and about machines that have been hijacked to give the election to joe biden in 2020

And then they'll also get their rocks off by watching a racist clip.

So in some way, maybe this was a part of a bigger scheme and a plan to be able to satisfy and throw red meat to this base.

But Don, you know, they probably should kind of walk and chew gum at the same time, deal with the racism, which we all expect from Donald Trump, but also say, don't believe the lies that are coming about the stolen election.
