But no, otherwise, my parents just call me Katie.

I had just finished my degree, and I was meant to move overseas with my boyfriend at the time.

And he had an amazing job.
He graduated as a mechanical engineer and he got offered like a project manager's role based in Brisbane, like doing FIFO.
And I graduated, I think six months after he did.
So he was already over there.
We'd literally like sent stuff over.
He like had an apartment already for us and I just graduated.
And obviously, you know, I was a university student.
I didn't have a lot of money behind me.
So I was going to sell my car and that was going to be like my money to move over.
look for a job um in my field and then i always knew deep down because he always used to say to me like don't worry like i'll support you like he you know he was making good money at that time um and even though i was so young i think something just didn't sit right with me being supported so young by a man even though like now that sounds great but
