I think people just want to know, like, the way these people live and I think, like, the requests and what we actually do and are these people nice because, you know, I think we're all very quick to assume that the top 1% are just all fucking assholes that click their fingers and, you know, demand us to, you know, run around with a fucking tray on our head and do something stupid, you know.
Um, so I think people were just fascinated because it's almost like, you know, always interested in something we don't know about or something that seems, that seems so far fetched for a lot of us to achieve.
And it is, it's, you know, so I think it was just like a fascination with like,
the rich and famous.
And I don't even want to say famous because these, some of these people, like you wouldn't, people would say their name and you wouldn't even know unless you were in running and real elite circles, you know?
So I think it's just a fascination and it is, it's fucking fascinating.
Like, um, you know, working with these people, like I used to have, it was entertaining for me.
And, um, yeah, it was, it was a time.
Yeah, you all start.
We call them green crew.
So you'll start, you know, as an engineer, as a deckhand, working in the galley or an interior member.
And yeah, obviously it goes...
Yachting is very much a hierarchy system.
If you can't respect hierarchy, don't even fucking consider this job because you're out.
But yeah, so you start at the bottom.
You have to do all the shitty jobs.
And I think as I worked my way to the top, I would notice sometimes a lot of attitude from my stews when I'd ask them to do something that's maybe not.
the nicest job or something quite grim.
Cleaning out bilges and shit.
