And it's a really, really hard one.
Like you get rejected a lot.
And so then you become less afraid of it because you've done it.
Whereas if you have not built that, it's really painful.
And so it really made me think about-
yeah, the people who had different types of pandemics, the different types of life experiences and if friends truly feel impossible.
And I think I am going to plug this, but like on our Patreon, I have watched, we have this meetup groups channel.
I have watched people find like the only other person in their city or like there's now a book club in Arizona.
There's a book club in San Diego.
There's a book club in Seattle.
And whether you go to this podcast, Patreon or not,
it's there.
Online, while it has allowed us to be really alone, there are probably a thousand Reddits, Patreons, Substack communities that if you went to, they're doing structured meetups where you can go and participate.
And by finding the thing that you like, you'll be there with other people who also like that same thing, which makes the start of friendship easier.
