Exactly, nine or ten years of age, when women's boxing wasn't even a sanctioned sport in Ireland, who would have thought that?

And then Crowe Park, that was basically the first time that conversation came up was four years ago after the first Serrano fight.

And it was completely out of the picture back then.

And then even after the last fight, I remember saying to my team in the hotel after that fight,

Guys, that's probably going to be it for me if I don't get Croke Park.

So I basically retired after the last fight.

I actually had a conversation with my family the next morning at breakfast and just saying to them that this is probably going to be the end of the journey.

There's not much else to chase after.

We all just sat crying around the breakfast table, just recalling the whole career.

And then here we are.

And I just, I didn't announce my retirement because I was clinging on to a bit of hope that this could actually happen.
