I think men get away with it a little bit more than women do.

I think it is becoming an issue for men.

I can see it with my own children, my sons particularly, that they need to be bigger and buffier.

So there is pressure on young men.

Like the manosphere, all of this stuff that we're seeing, that's attached to looks as well.

Like these men on the manosphere are big, bulky men and they're encouraging that as well.

So this is not a book just for women.

But like by the age of 13, one out of two girls will report not liking her body.

Like, they'll have dropped out of sport by 14.

Majority drop out of sport by 14.

And then one in three will have some sort of disordered eating by the age of 16.

And a lot of that is tied to our value is placed on what we look like as women.

And we see it all the time.

Like, you just have to open a newspaper, open social media.

A lot of women are judged on their shape or size.

And there is an idea that if you're fat or you're bigger, you're failing.

Yeah.

You're not controlling yourself.
