So I just had all that to carry then.
And we weren't very well off.
We struggled and I went back to โ and that was the other thing I'd just like to mention, that I had to give up my nursing training.
I was three years into it.
I was about nine months short of becoming a nurse.
But when you got married, you had to leave work.

You just lost your job.

Yes, that's what it was like then.
So that was one of the things in my whole life that I've regretted, that I really wished I had... Finished.
I used to dream about it.
And one day I'm going to go back and do that.
But then we quickly had three little girls...
It was good, but I know that I was a very traumatised mother.
And I think for my daughters, particularly my two older ones, I was probably not.
I loved them, but I was very frightened they were going to die.
I always had this, oh, always going, be careful, worrying all the time that I was going to lose them.
