They had a transfer window over the summer where they were supposed to address a lot of the questions that were hanging over them. matched

And the questions hanging over them and kind of over Carrick generally are how can they control games? matched

How can they pick up points where they're expected to be favourites? matched

And weirdly, they play Manchester City next week. matched

And I think you kind of expect them to get a result in that game because that's the kind of game where they tend to do quite well because they're not expected to take the initiative and take the onus in the game. matched

in games like they've had in the first three in the season against Hull, Ipswich and Everton, games where you'd expect them to win, but games where you'd expect them to also control and sort of dictate the game. matched

They haven't really done that in any of the games and the midfield signings was supposed to, I think, help them get towards that and they haven't yet so matched
