She looks like she may come out on top of former Milwaukee County or current Milwaukee County executive David Crowley. And that could be a real test of the pull of socialism, the shift of the party, the Democratic Party, more toward the left.
There is a lot stacking up against him that could make the politics around his campaign more difficult heading into a general election in November against Susan Collins, who is, by the way, an incredibly vulnerable incumbent.
She obviously has had to break with President Trump on a number of issues recently to try to keep that independent streak that seems to win over the voters in Maine.
