The rain started coming down hard.

And the current was dragging them closer and closer to the cliffs every single moment.
Captain Delgarno sent the sailors to unfurl every sail they had.
They needed all the pull they could get to get away from the coast, but it just wasn't enough.
Captain Delgarno screamed for the anchor to be dropped in a last effort to avoid the cliffs, but it was too late.
The hull struck the reefs hard, the front of the ship caved in, the three iron masts collapsed onto the deck, and the weight of them, hundreds of pounds of metal, dragged every inch of the rigging and the sail into the water.
