George's family has never believed that story for a single second.
They think that their son was murdered.
And that at least one person who knows exactly what happened chose not to say.
Jennifer, for her part, eventually moved on.
She remarried a few years later, became a parent, and she stayed out of the spotlight.
She declined to take part when a true crime show revisited the case.
