people really caught different versions of me depending on when they listened to me preach, because the Lord's taking me on a journey, not just as a preacher, but as a son, right?
But whatever journey he takes the son on, the preacher comes on too.
And so there's been so many different iterations of me.
And man, I used to be the guy who was like, and I want people to be encouraged.
It's not that I don't want encouragement.
It's not that I don't want people to leave having a sense of God's for me and he loves me and it's, you know, because of Christ, it's going to be okay.
I have this hope.
But at the same time, if you never take, like, I'll just, this is old language.
It's like old, like I'm talking like old head now.
But if you never take the church to the woodshed, something's wrong.
Like the Lord disciplines the son that he loves.
And if all we do is just try to like make it okay and make it okay and make it okay and like, oh, it's fine.
You're trying.
Are you?
Are you really trying?
You know, the Bible says, again, it's the book of Hebrews.
It says, none of us have resisted the temptation to the point of shedding our own blood.
That's the writer of Hebrews saying, get up and get over it.
Come on, really try.
