And in the meantime, regulators continue to pressure tech giants to do more to protect young people from online harm.

In the latest such case, the EU has ordered TikTok to change what it described as its addictive design.

So what is it about TikTok that the EU has taken issue with?

I appreciate that you're highlighting concerns about the impact

on children and young people.

But when it comes to adult users, I mean, they are consenting adults.

I should just say that TikTok has told us that the commission's depiction of the platform is categorically false and they are going to challenge the findings.

Those sort of features that you highlighted don't seem unique to TikTok.

Or is there something about how these features are used on TikTok that is particularly concerning?
