Well, my role was to involve doing all these nice things while international matches were happening and the League of Ireland would be in full flow now.

But as you know, COVID-19 has interrupted life in general and it's a far different scene, I suppose, than I envisaged when I first went in.

But effectively, we're trying to do exactly as is happening over in England.

We mightn't have the power and strength.

in the League of Ireland that's over there.

But we have the exact same issues.

We have 350-odd footballers who are uncertain of their futures.

And we're trying very hard to get the game back.

And we're at a disadvantage for a couple of reasons, say, compared to the UK, in that our TV deal isn't strong enough to make us come back alone.

So that's a problem.

And secondly, we'd only just barely started our season here.

So we haven't had three quarters of the season to bring in three quarters of the income.

It's a very dangerous situation for our clubs to try and stay going to play.

And it's taken over a lot of my time now.

And rightly so, because we all want to get back.

We'd be the only summer league in Europe that didn't make it back if we don't.

So we need a little bit of help with that.

And we've been working with government, working with our health officials here on that side of things.

And then it drops down to the whole of the game.

Then after that, down into grassroots games.
