And it wasn't something I think all of us thought we were going to do.
at Christmas, but by the end of January, we were there.
And it's been tough, but what I would say to you, we made a plan that if we get it right inside our own building, if we can get the culture right and the mix right in terms of what we're trying to achieve within our own building, then we'd have a chance of going out to the stakeholders and making football better in the country.
And I have to say the great plus of being involved with the association over the last four months has been the pool of talent in all areas of the association that work full-time within Abbottstown and our whole setup.
And that goes from, as I mentioned, grassroots earlier, but that grassroots entails an awful lot of areas.
We've, you know, other areas as well, I mentioned international coaching, but there's so many good people in comms, for instance, they've been suppressed a little bit over the years and they're coming good.
Keith, you took part in the Home Skills Project, which we got you to film yourself doing some skills and getting kids to try and copy you there for the pandemic.
Not very good ones.

You see, some people would say you weren't, but there you go.

And the point was, we said if we could get 10,000 views...
in the first month that would be a great result here in Ireland and stuff like that would be a measure of how important football is and is our brand damaged and the amazing thing was we got 300,000 views and right now I think in that first month right now we're up to I think three million impressions I don't understand what I'm saying here now this is a digital term but the success of that you know was a coming together of two or three departments and it shows you the talent that's in there that's just one of many things
And we've some fabulous projects going on.
We've brilliant coaches.
We've great regional development officers who go into schools.
The story was never being told.
So what's the most enjoyable part of this, of, say, coming from the legacy that we inherited, has been the actual pool of talent in there, in the association.
