And rightly so, because we all want to get back.
We'd be the only summer league in Europe that didn't make it back if we don't.
So we need a little bit of help with that.
And we've been working with government, working with our health officials here on that side of things.
And then it drops down to the whole of the game.
Then after that, down into grassroots games.
Keith is there and actually pops upwards to international from time to time.
And Keith was lucky enough to get a job just there a couple of years ago.
Yeah, I think there is within football itself, and we're doing a pilot programme now with four of our teams who have qualified for Europe, and we're starting a tournament now in a couple of months' time, around the middle to end of July, and those four players are all going through a testing scenario at the moment, and that's...
That's important to us on the basis, I suppose, that, you know, the rest of the game must follow.
So even though it's a four-game tournament and we're sort of prioritising those four teams at the moment, it's really to get the scientific data in place to show the government that it was worth doing, that we can go to the next phase and get the league finished and that we can also, you know, get amateur footballers back on the park.
So there's a lot at stake.
And so we're taking it very serious.
But yeah, to answer you directly, yes, football really wants to get back.
Yeah, so we would have the same issues.
We'd have strong clubs and clubs that aren't so strong.
And it's really to protect all and to be acting in the interest for all is the key.
And I suppose we've kind of gone...
ahead of the posse really because all our sports are in this trouble over here it's not just football but we've gone a little bit ahead of the posse and trying to find a formula that will at least begin the pathway back for everyone and some of the clubs are a little bit worried about that and we get that it wouldn't be right to plunge them into something that they can't sustain either so we do need outside help for that and we've been courting that for some time now and it's beginning to formulate and we hope to have some positive news for the clubs in a week or so's time
But it's been difficult because, as you know, it's not just football that's suffering.
