in the first month that would be a great result here in Ireland and stuff like that would be a measure of how important football is and is our brand damaged and the amazing thing was we got 300,000 views and right now I think in that first month right now we're up to I think three million impressions I don't understand what I'm saying here now this is a digital term but the success of that you know was a coming together of two or three departments and it shows you the talent that's in there that's just one of many things
And we've some fabulous projects going on.
We've brilliant coaches.
We've great regional development officers who go into schools.
The story was never being told.
So what's the most enjoyable part of this, of, say, coming from the legacy that we inherited, has been the actual pool of talent in there, in the association.
And that has just been great for us because we've been able to say to them now, and we're quite proud,
comfortable with this you know what would it look like if it was perfect compared to the way it used to be and all of them are coming to a to a much better place and their real talent is coming through so it's great to be part of that every day albeit politically we would have struggles and there are some people you know and you know affected by the change and feeling uh pushed to one side and kind of get that outside the association uh day to day that would be in in the constituencies and so there's work to be done you know we to link up a lot still it's it's only been a few months but uh
But it's been a hell of a journey and I'm on 16 subcommittees.
So I don't know what I did in my life to deserve that.
And they're all active during COVID-19.
But it's whirlwind stuff.
But if you appreciate the talent that's around you and what's in there, you forget all about the past and the legacies and you drive on.
And that's where we all feel it's making progress.
Yeah, and I think if you throw in ability into that as a coach, because, you know, when you think of Keith Keats there, obviously, and we know all about his ability.
He worked with Stephen there last year.
But to get Damien Duff into that fold as well was great for us because, you know, you could tell when he left Celtic there a couple of weeks ago.
Neil Lennon was happy for him because it was a dream job for him, but unhappy because of the void that he would have to fill at Chelsea as a result.
So the ability of these players and the culture that they will bring and the ability to work as a team right through the system from schoolboy international right the way up.
our director of football, if you like, to try and compare it to what you guys have.
